Chataeu de Bridoire


Explore the captivating history of Chateau de Bridoire, a 12th-century castle near Bergerac in the Dordogne, recently restored and open to the public. Lots of fun with medieval games and an outdoor adventure trail/ treasure hunt – both old and young will love this – not to be missed!

 

Chataeu de Castlenaud

 

Near Sarlat, it is an amazing medival fortress. A great hit with both young and old. There are many fortress villages and towns in the area – Limeuil, Monpazier, Emyet to name a few – lovely to sit and have lunch in the square.

 

Lascaux Caves

 

Lascaux is a network of caves near the village of Montignac. Over 600 parietal wall paintings cover the interior walls and ceilings of the cave. A must-see for all ages, this experience seamlessly blends history with playful exploration. Don’t miss out on the magic of Lascaux Caves – a highly recommended adventure for the curious and young at heart!

Jardins de Marqueyssac

 

Stunning garden sanctuary. Explore enchanting walking paths, perfectly manicured landscapes, and breathtaking panoramic views. A recommended destination for our guests seeking tranquility and natural beauty during their stay. Located near Sarlat – also open at night in the summer.

Chateau les Merles

 

 

Only a few minutes drive away slightly expensive but a lovely setting. A highly recommended experience, offering a perfect blend of delectable dishes and charming surroundings – you can buy wine from the vineyard behind. For any golf enthusiasts – there is a 9-hole golf course.

Le Rebeyotte in Pressignac Vinc

 

15 minutes drive away – next to the little airfield – you get given the menu de jour and house wine – an authentic French country experience – cheap, tasty and rustic! – you will need to book ahead though.

Creperie, Au Gré des Saisons

Discover a budget-friendly gem – our favourite creperie! With both sweet and savory options, it’s a delightful spot for a tasty and affordable treat. Highly recommended for a simple yet satisfying experience – A 10 minute drive away.
